Vava’u

The main centre is at Nei’afu. Tokaikolo’s church there is called Malanata (meaningMalanata). A church hall was opened here in 1992 by the Governor of Vava’u Hon. Tonga Tu’i’afitu.

The Niua’s -Tonga’s northern most islands.

There is a Tokaikolo Church congregation on Niuatoputapu but not yet on Niuafo’ou. The leader of the congregation there in 2002 was Rev. Pola’apau ‘Akauola.

A kindergarten was opened on Niuatoputapu in 2002 named Fungani ‘o e ‘Ilo.-meaning “The very best knowledge is to know Christ”. The Principal of the kindergarten is Pohiva Mainitisa. Her husband Rev.Tupou Manitisa is the present leader of the church on Niuatoputapu.
