Rev. Sione H. Maile

Reverend Sione H. Maile was appointed as the first General Secretary to the church in 1981. He was ordained to the Ministry in January of 1982. He works closely with the President in all matters regarding the Church, its businesses and its schools, from the start of the fellowship and up until the present time.

Reverend Maile has an extensive pastoral ministry; he preaches in the churches both in Tonga and to overseas congregations; his sermons are presented both on radio and television and he also writes monthly articles for the Ofa-ki-Tonga Newspaper to help families. He carries out evangelical work throughout Tonga as well as in each country where the Church has branch congregations. Reverend Maile conducts School assemblies and leads staff devotions as well as carrying out home visitations and conducting personal counselling. In addition, God has gifted him with a healing ministry.

As well as doing the work of Secretary General, he pastors his own church in his home-town of Ha’etaiho situated on Tongatapu, the main island of Tonga. Reverend Maile is a saintly person with and undying love for God and His causes. He is very passionate about teaching for the salvation of God’s people.
