Camps and Conferences

These have been held every year commencing in 1980. Each camp has a theme from the Bible. The theme of the first camp in 1980 was “In Christ we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28). This verse became the motto of all the schools, colleges and University
The church is governed by an Annual General Conference. In addition ”district” meetings called vahe fonua are held annually in each country. In the past, conferences have included Bible studies; training for discipleship and Sunday school teachers and evangelism training as well as a teachers’ conference.  From 2007 it is planned to have general conferences biennially and national conferences in Australia, USA, New Zealand, Hawaii and Tonga annually.
